Michael Tran

Michael is a Chartered engineer who has worked on very large projects. Over 13 years he has gained experience in geotechnical engineering in Singapore and New Zealand, providing design and technical inputs on large-scale and multi-disciplinary projects. Michael has worked on all stages of the project life cycle from conceptualisation through to detailed design and construction supervision.

Significant local projects in New Zealand include Auckland City Rail Link, Auckland Central Interceptor, Waikato Expressway, Pūhoi to Warkworth Motorway, and New Zealand International Convention Centre.

Michael’s areas of expertise are deep excavation and deep foundation design, soil/structure interaction analysis, site investigation and interpretation, seismic design, and slope stability assessment.
