Raymond Yim

Raymond brings technical and analytical heft to the team. He provides the proof that Andy’s instincts were correct!

His 21 years of industry experience covers geotechnical design and construction supervision of railways, highways, infrastructure and residential developments, and large-scale water and wastewater projects, across Hong Kong, the UK and NZ. His expertise in slope engineering, retaining walls and foundations is sought after. Raymond has extensive experience in supervising and managing geotechnical site investigations and conducts desk studies and feasibility studies, providing design supervision and interpretation of ground investigations, ground and groundwater assessment, and design of remediation projects.

He is an acknowledged expert in numerical analysis and liquefaction assessment software including the full Plaxis 2D & 3D suite.

Raymond is a Member of Engineering NZ and is actively working towards Chartered status.
